Rules

  1. Fill in the cells under the following rules.
  2. Consecutive black cells are called a “block”. The number written on a cell indicates the number of black cells that make up the “block” containing that cell.
  3. If there is a cell with a “?”, you do not know the number of black cells that make up the block containing that cell.
  4. Every block must contain one number or one “?”.
  5. When two or more blocks are in contact at a corner it is called a “chain”. All blocks must be part of a chain.
  6. A chain cannot contain more than one block of one size and shape. Blocks are considered to have the same shape even if a block matches the rotated or mirror image of another block in a chain.
